During my career, I met many teachers who had simply stopped learning in the belief that they had enough experience
Move your body as much as you can as it is so easy to get stuck in a position where we hold ourselves whilst teaching
Once you’ve answered those questions, hopefully you have an idea of your patterns when you do take care of yourself
Don’t get caught out. Stand strong and pay attention to those words. When talking about yourself, use your self-awareness
Will the classroom feel a welcoming environment to walk in and spend time in? Are there quiet spaces to encourage students
Are there any positive actions you can take which can help you more? Can you implement actions and behaviours into your day inside
If you have a difficult lesson, learning from it but then let it go and carry on so don’t carry it into the next lesson or your evening etc.
Self-awareness will help you in so many situations through knowing your qualities, areas of improvement and also knowing what feels right
You may wish to see what you naturally do during this month to bring yourself comfort
