Benefits of Mindful Walks
For copyright reasons, even though this is from my own book, I do have to say that the following comes from my latest book 'Mindful Walks to be in the present moment'available from Amazon for £5.99 on Kindle. I'll include the link at the end in case you wish to buy the book to read more. I will be sharing some of the walks in blog format over the coming days or weeks.
Benefits to going on Mindful Walks
There are many benefits to taking Mindful Walks as well as walking and exercising in general and I’m sure you will also find your own in addition to the ones I will briefly mention. As one of the main advantages of walking in general is that the majority of people can do it without too many preparations or equipment, there is a certain freedom about it. Therefore, I will keep the list minimal so that you find your own freedom within the walks themselves and your expectations around them.

Some benefits include:
Deeper connection with nature
Deeper connection with oneself
Improved fitness levels from walking
Can lower blood pressure and heart rates
Better sleep
Improved mood
Lower stress levels
Increased happiness
Improved relationships and interactions
Greater self-awareness
Slowing down
Being more observant of surroundings
There are many more benefits which I will leave you to discover yourself and perhaps you can let me know what you find from your walks.
